FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions and general information about The Mark Restaurant / The Mark Olympia.

RESTAURANT: Affordable, stylish yet casual neighborhood setting, for every day The Mark has a small nine table dining room with a full bar and a large outdoor patio area. When needed there are two additional private dining rooms and a larger banquet space that can be reserved for private functions, or for even larger events, the entire restaurant can be reserved.

FORNO / PIZZERIA : Roman style Pizza Al Taglio. Simple, classic recipes – real fresh food without unnecessary pomp and circumstance.

Our Pizza alla Romana is both delicious and healthy. We use a precise mix of flour, water, sour dough yeast, extra virgin olive oil, and sea salt. With a dough maturation time at 48 to 54 hours. During this process enzymes and yeast work together to breakdown sugars making our Pizza more digestible. Our guests love our crust that is crisp, but also, aerated and light.

There are no hidden animal fats in our preparation, the only oil used is extra virgin olive oil. We use our sea salt with moderation. This keeps our vegan pizza’s while quite tasty, much lower calorically, and exceptionally heart healthy.

LOCAL: Whenever possible spending cash and purchasing local goods – actively promoting the direct purchase of goods by consumers from local organic farms since 2001.

FRESH PRODUCE: Our produce is organic and local as much as possible.

DIETARY CONCERNS: Options available for vegetarian and vegan.

COST:  Pizza ala Romana “Pizza al Taglio” cuts are  9.00 – 14.00 Tax is always included.

WINE LIST: Designed to complement the menu, most of our wines are from Tuscany, northern Italy.

WINE COST: Bottle 28.00 – 160.00 | Glass approx. 8.00 – 16.00

CORKAGE FEE: 18.00 per bottle

COCKTAILS: The Mark Olympia’s excellent cocktail menu celebrates the balance of health and decadence giving you the best of both worlds. Adventure with the most sophisticated, and extensive selection of premium liquors available to you in Olympia.

HOURS: Thursday – Saturday, from 5:30 PM until 11:00 with a full service bar and an extensive selection of premium liquors.

COST RANGE HOUSE COCKTAILS: 8.00 to 15.00

ORGANIC PRODUCTS: As much as is possible we use organic and local products.

HOURS OF OPERATION:  Thurs., Fri., and Sat 5:30 pm until 11:00 pm

DRESS CODE: There is no dress code. If you want to dress up you are perfect, if you want to dress down you are perfect as well.

MINORS/CHILDREN: All ages are very welcome with their parents. We do not have highchairs, booster seats or children’s play areas.

PARKING: Street parking available. There are three parking lots within one block of the restaurant.

The Mark Olympia is named in memory of Lisa’s step-father Mark Listner Greenburg.
